Novel Interconnections: Nano-dimensional Interface for Electronic Devices

Biography :

Dr. Shutesh has more than 15 years of corporate and research experience in Semiconductors particularly medical electronics. He started his carrier with ST Microelectronics NV as Package Development engineer in 1998. In 2002 he joined Motorola Semiconductor, now known as ONSemiconductor, as one of the pioneers in their Product Innovation and Design Center (PIDC). PIDC was the first ISO/TS16949 certified semiconductor package design center in Malaysia at that time. He was instrumental in setting up Technology Development Center from USA to Malaysia and had successfully developed numerous new products for portable, automotive and medical electronic applications during his tenure. He moved on to PLATINUM NanoChem PLC (UK) as their Vice President of R&D in 2013. He is also assuming the role of lead scientist in their technology commercialization team. Currently he is working on Graphene and Quantum dot development for Electronics and Medical Applications. He holds 10 USA filed patents and several Malaysia and China filed patents. He had published more than 20 articles in reputed scientific journals and presented research papers in numerous international conferences. He is a distinguished Senior IEEE member for more than 10 years. He is also an appointed academic advisor and actively involved in cutting edge research activities at local universities.
